Tube Fitting Quick Connect Body
The Tube Fitting Quick Connect Body combines an instrumentation quick-connect socket with an integral tube fitting connection for direct installation into fractional or metric tubing systems.
Available in QC4, QC6 and QC8 body sizes, the valved body automatically closes its flow path when the mating stem is disconnected. Fractional and metric tube-fitting options allow the quick connect to be integrated directly into instrumentation, testing and industrial fluid lines.

Tube Fitting Connection
The integral tube fitting provides a direct connection between the quick-connect body and instrumentation tubing, reducing the need for a separate threaded adapter.
Fractional and metric configurations are available to suit commonly used instrumentation tube sizes. The tube size and quick-connect body size should be selected together according to the required connection, flow capacity and operating conditions.
Shutoff Operation
The valved body automatically closes its flow path when the mating stem is disconnected.
When a compatible stem is inserted, the coupling opens according to the selected body-and-stem configuration. This provides a convenient make-and-break connection for systems requiring periodic connection, disconnection, testing or equipment changeover.
Pressure & Operating Considerations
Maximum working pressure is up to 3000 psig / 207 bar, depending on body size, mating stem, tube connection, seal material, temperature and service conditions.
Coupled, uncoupled and coupling or uncoupling pressure limits may differ. The allowable operating pressure should therefore be confirmed for the exact body-and-stem combination and operating condition.
The pressure capability of the connected tubing and other system components should also be considered when determining the allowable working pressure of the complete assembly.
Connection & Compatibility
The quick-connect body must be matched with a compatible stem of the appropriate coupling size and configuration.
QC4, QC6 and QC8 identify quick-connect body sizes rather than tube sizes. The tube OD and coupling body size should therefore both be specified when ordering.
Quick-connect components from different series or manufacturers should not be assumed to be interchangeable based only on nominal size or external appearance.
