Instrumentation Quick Connect Couplings
Instrumentation quick connect couplings provide fast connection and disconnection of fluid lines without requiring tools during normal coupling operation.
The QC series is available in QC4, QC6 and QC8 body sizes with multiple shutoff configurations and end connections for instrumentation, testing and industrial fluid systems.

Shutoff Configurations
Single-End Shutoff — SESO
Single-end shutoff configurations use a valve on one side of the quick-connect assembly while the opposite side remains open when disconnected.
This arrangement can be selected where automatic shutoff is required on only one side of the fluid line.
Double-End Shutoff — DESO
Double-end shutoff configurations use valved components to shut off both sides of the connection when uncoupled.
This configuration helps limit fluid loss and air ingress during disconnection and is useful where both sides of the system need to be isolated.
Full Flow
Full-flow configurations are available where an internal shutoff valve is not required and higher flow capacity through the quick-connect connection is preferred.

Flow capacity depends on body size and internal valve configuration.

Pressure & Operating Considerations
Maximum working pressure is up to 3000 psig / 207 bar, depending on the selected body, stem, seal, end connection and operating conditions.
Coupled, uncoupled and coupling/uncoupling pressure limits may differ. The allowable operating pressure should therefore be confirmed for the exact quick-connect configuration and service condition.
Temperature capability also depends on seal material and fluid compatibility.
Connection & Compatibility
Quick-connect bodies and stems must be selected as compatible components of the same coupling system.
Body size, shutoff configuration, end connection and seal requirements should be confirmed when selecting new or replacement components.
Components from different manufacturers or quick-connect series should not be assumed to be interchangeable based only on nominal size or external appearance.
