Stainless Steel Female NPT Three-Way Trunnion Ball Valve
The Stainless Steel Female NPT Three-Way Trunnion Ball Valve is designed for manual flow-path switching in high-pressure instrumentation and fluid-control systems.
The trunnion-style ball design is available in TB and TBH Series configurations. TB configurations are rated up to 6000 psig (414 bar), while TBH configurations are rated up to 10,000 psig (689 bar).

TB and TBH Trunnion Design
The TB and TBH Series use a trunnion-style ball configuration for high-pressure fluid-control applications.
The fixed-ball arrangement incorporates seat sealing on both sides of the ball. The three-way configuration provides three connected valve ports for manual flow-path switching according to the required system arrangement.
Female NPT Connections
The three-way configuration is available with Female NPT connections.
TB three-way Female NPT configurations are available in 1/8 in., 1/4 in., 3/8 in., and 1/2 in. sizes. TBH three-way Female NPT configurations are available in 1/8 in., 1/4 in., and 1/2 in. sizes.
Available orifice sizes and flow coefficients vary with the selected valve size and series.
Pressure and Temperature
TB Series configurations have a maximum working pressure up to 6000 psig (414 bar), while TBH Series configurations have a maximum working pressure up to 10,000 psig (689 bar).
The working temperature range is 0°F to 450°F (-18°C to 232°C).
Applicable working pressure depends on the selected series, valve size, sealing materials, operating temperature, and service conditions. Final valve selection should be based on the actual system requirements.
Three-Way Flow Configuration
The three-way configuration is designed for applications requiring manual switching between connected fluid lines.
The required flow-path arrangement should be specified when requesting a valve so the appropriate configuration can be confirmed for the application.
Typical Applications
TB and TBH trunnion ball valves are suitable for high-pressure systems requiring manual flow-path switching, including process instrumentation, test systems, hydraulic systems, and equipment fluid lines.
Application suitability should be confirmed according to the required flow path, operating pressure, temperature, process fluid, connection size, and material compatibility.
Selecting the Right Configuration
When specifying a three-way trunnion ball valve, provide the required Female NPT size, required flow path, operating pressure, temperature, process fluid, and quantity.
The required working pressure is particularly important when selecting between the TB and TBH Series.
Send us your required Female NPT size, flow-path requirements, operating pressure, temperature, process fluid, and quantity. Our team will review the application and help confirm a suitable TB or TBH trunnion ball valve configuration.
