Overview
The GE Series Single Ferrule Hydraulic Male Connector provides a straight connection between metric tubing and a female threaded equipment or component port.
The tube side uses a 24° cutting-ring connection, while the male port side is available with multiple thread and sealing configurations to suit different hydraulic connection requirements.
Available configurations include BSPT and NPT tapered male threads, BSPP male threads with ED sealing, and Metric male threads with ED or O-ring sealing arrangements.
LL, L and S series are available depending on the selected connection configuration and tube size.

The male thread and sealing arrangement should be selected according to the mating female port.
BSPT and NPT are tapered-thread configurations. BSPP and Metric parallel-thread versions require the appropriate sealing arrangement rather than relying on thread interference alone.

Pressure ratings should be considered together with the selected thread and sealing configuration, mating port, tube specification, tube material, wall thickness, operating temperature and complete assembled system.
For pressure- or temperature-sensitive applications, provide the complete connection and operating requirements for review.
Thread & Port Considerations
Correct identification of both the thread standard and sealing method is important when selecting a male connector.
BSPT, NPT, BSPP and Metric threads are different connection systems and should not be selected based on nominal thread size alone.
For parallel-thread connections, the sealing arrangement must also match the mating port. ED-seal and O-ring configurations therefore need to be specified independently from the nominal thread size.
Where an existing fitting is being replaced, provide the current part number, thread specification, drawing or clear dimensional information for review.

The male threaded connection should be installed according to the requirements of the selected thread and sealing system. Parallel and tapered threads use different sealing principles and should not be treated as interchangeable.
Tube dimensions, wall thickness, material, mating-port geometry and operating conditions should be compatible with the selected fitting configuration.
