Overview
The TFT Series Female Tee is a three-port pipe fitting designed to create a 90° branch from a threaded fluid line.
All three ports are female threaded, providing two aligned run connections and one perpendicular branch connection. This configuration is suitable for connecting three male-threaded components or pipe connections in instrumentation, process piping and industrial fluid systems.
NPT is the primary thread configuration. Selected ISO/BSP tapered-thread versions and heavy-wall NPT configurations are also available.

Working-pressure ratings apply to the listed 316 stainless steel configurations. The allowable working pressure of a complete system is limited by its lowest-rated component and applicable operating conditions.

Thread Configurations

All three ports use the same thread family in the catalogue configurations shown.
Three-Port Configuration
The Female Tee provides three female threaded connections:
- Two opposing female ports form the straight run
- One perpendicular female port forms the 90° branch
Because all three ports are female threaded, the TFT Series differs from mixed-gender configurations such as Male Branch Tee and Female Run Tee.
Thread & Sealing Considerations
NPT is a tapered pipe thread. Sealing is developed through thread engagement together with a thread-sealing method appropriate for the fluid, temperature and operating conditions.
ISO/BSP tapered threads also use tapered-thread engagement but should not be assumed interchangeable with NPT. Thread form, pitch and dimensional standard must match the mating connection.
Thread standard and size should be verified for all three ports before ordering or installation.
Material
Standard Material: 316 Stainless Steel
TFT Series Female Tees are manufactured from 316 stainless steel forgings to ASTM A182.
Forged construction is suitable for the shaped tee body and provides a robust body configuration for instrumentation, process and industrial fluid applications.
