Overview
The MBT Series Double Ferrule Male Branch Tee combines two double ferrule tube connections with a male threaded branch connection. The two tube ends form the straight-through tube path, while the male threaded branch provides a 90° connection to a female threaded port.
Multiple fractional and metric tube sizes and male NPT branch-size combinations are available for instrumentation, process control, sampling, testing and other industrial fluid systems.

Materials
316 stainless steel is the standard material for this series.
For corrosive or special-service requirements, Monel 400, Inconel 625, Super Duplex 2507 and other special alloys are available for applicable project configurations.

Pressure & Temperature Considerations
Allowable working pressure depends on the complete tube-fitting system rather than the Male Branch Tee body alone. Relevant factors include tubing material, tube O.D., wall thickness, operating temperature and the male threaded connection.
The pressure capability of the lowest-rated component or connection in the assembled system should be considered when determining allowable working pressure.
For pressure- or temperature-sensitive applications, provide the tubing specification, material, branch thread size, operating pressure and operating temperature for review.
